余既兹兰之九畹兮，又树蕙之百亩；畦留夷与揭车兮，杂度蘅与方芷；冀枝叶之峻茂 兮，愿竢时乎吾将刈。

I had tended many an acre of orchids, And planted a hundred rods of melilotus; I had raised sweet lichens and the cart halting flowers, And as arums mingled with fragrant angelica, And hoped that when leaf and stem were in fullest bloom , When the time had come, I could reap a fine harve.
